Dried Fluted Pumpkin Leaves
Green machine! This leafy greens pack a punch of nutrients and flavour and are from tropical fluted pumpkin vines native to South Eastern Nigeria. They are easily comparable to spinach for its versatility in many dishes from soups, pottage or rice/pasta dishes. Our Ugu leaves are cleaned and then dried naturally leaving them just right for immediate use. To use, simply rise or soak in water for about 15mins, scoop out the leaves for use in your preferred soup or sauce, making sure to leave out residues.
